I was just trying to make a silly little game to play with my friends and the youth at my church, something like Battleship with real cannons.
I threw together a few rough models in Tinkercad to see if the idea would work, took them to the office, and it kind of blew up from there. Now I really want to play this game, and so do my friends (and apparently a lot of people on the internet).
So my wife and I committed to printing, packing and shipping ten starter packs by hand, to see if there's enough interest to make this a real game. All ten are claimed.
Once they ship we'll figure out a bigger run. If you'd like one, join the waiting list below and we'll email you when we know the timing and the price (which may change from this first batch).
In the pack
You can play a stripped-down game with one pack, but you'll probably want two for a full game.
One fleet
- Your choice of the Corsairs (4 small ships) or the Queen's Fleet (3 larger ships)
- Masts, sails, and flag holders for every ship
- Movement wheels and cargo, fitted
- Cannons, cannonballs, and coins
- Three island toppers with flagpoles
- Rocks and reefs
New pieces will stay compatible with this run wherever I can manage it.
